| 中文描述 | 新包蟲，與馬的流產、新生兒疾病、內臟疾病、神經疾病，而與SARCOCYSTIS NEURONA造成馬的原生動物腦脊髓炎很像。有關的病原體為hughesi新包蟲、犬新包蟲，此二種只能以基因序列區別，由血清學無法區別。但病原體造成馬神經疾病、流產的相關原因，則未知。 |

| 英文描述 | NEOSPORA has been associated in horses with abortion, neonatal disease, visceral disease, and with neurologic disease resembling the equine protozoal myeloencephalitis caused by SARCOCYSTIS NEURONA. The organisms involved have been NEOSPORA HUGHESI and N. CANINUM, which can be disinguished by genetic differences but not serologically. The relative contributions of these agents to equine neurological disease and abortion is not known. |
